Hi……making this myself and wondering how you installed the battery pack in your model??
building this at the moment
just fineshed the fusalage
how you get the kamikaze plane
Nice job. Great to see a Guillow’s Zeke fly!
Gorgeous , absolutely!
@ssgtakeo You probably know this, but they made a whole bunch of these conversions for the movie “Tora! Tora! Tora!” They looked rather odd on the (supposed) carrier deck, sitting so low compared to the actual Zero on its tall landing gear. The overall effect was pretty good, though, as were the Vultee conversions.
@carmium Yeah the airshow version is clearly a converted T6.
@ssgtakeo I think I recall hearing that, but as you know, it’s not the plane filmed in this vid. And the airshow example has the short legs and round, leading edge wheel wells of a Harvard/AT-6, so I thought it slightly amusing that both examples, well, weren’t!
There are a number of one-of-a-kind planes at the Smith’ and I wouldn’t mind a visit there at all, plane buff that I am…
@NVanWendy The smithsonian does have a real A6M. Hangs right above the P-51 in the WWII gallery.
this fucking song sounds like when i floss…………
That plane you were being impressed by at the Smithsonian wasn’t a Zero, and I tyhink the one at Andrews was a replica, likely built from an AT-6,
Nevertheless, nice build - those Guillows kits aren’t exactly ARF!
What is the hardest part for the assembly?
Do you think this plane can be cover by monokote? Would it be looking a bit better in there?
What is motor esc receiver you are using?
Thanks
Thanks for posting. Great Job!!!
@nacoedgar With today’s light electronics and light and precise building: no problem
wow nice model! i am trying to do the some but with a guillows B-25 model, Wht do u think? is it possible?
@TheFlight17 Coverite CoverLite White

@ssgtakeo
Cool… send me the pictures and have fun with building an flying :’)
@SkinnyPuppy208
It’s a eflife 250… but toooo much power… a 180 would be enough. I needed a heavier motor to achieve to CG..
Well done! I have all the hardware needed to make one as well so maybe I will start.
