the Airhogs Sharpshooter is a 2 channel coaxial Infrared Controlled Helicopter. This means you can make it fly up and down and turn left and right. It flies forward on its own at a very slow rate allowing you to line up your shot. It can Carry 2 missiles In its lunch bays, pressing the fire button on the transmitter causes one of the 2 missiles to fire so you get 2 shots before you need to reload. The missiles shoot about 10 feet. It cost 34.99 and is sold at places like Toys R Us Target and Wal-Mart. The package includes the 2 channel helicopter 6 missiles and 3 cardboard targets. The helicopter flies for 5 to 7 minutes and recharges in about 30 minutes.

I flew my RC plane over the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. I flew around the Saturn V, Saturn I, and the Space Shot ride. On the east side is the OV-098 Space Shuttle Orbiter Pathfinder. At the front door of the museum is a Lockheed A-12 Oxcart. You can see the new facility nearing completion which will be the new home to the Saturn V that is laying on it’s side. Older aerial shots will show where the Saturn V was on the back side of the lot. I launched from across the road and flew through the video display on my end. Landing, I acquired visual of the plane and guided it into my hand. The aircraft is a Multiplex easystar from hobby-lobby.com The camera in a KX131 camera (uncased) from rangevideo.com The video link is 2.4ghz from rangevideo.com My video display and recorder is a Sony minidv watchman. The radio link needs a better receive antenna.

A few weeks ago my biggest RC plane, a Christen Husky, crashed while aerotowing due to some technical failure, probably caused by the reciever battery. It was not even two years old From the footage taken from the gliders cockpit I made this video also including the maiden flight. This is the old version; now I have made a revised one with an alternative ending which is posted as a response (see link below the video screen).
